Apricamera100kb Android v3 released — rebuilt from the ground up
Apricamera100kb v3 for Android is now live on Google Play — the biggest update we've shipped. The whole app has been rewritten natively in Kotlin, replacing the old build, and it brings a long list of improvements:
-
Rebuilt natively in Kotlin for a faster, smoother, more reliable app.
-
Pinch-to-zoom while taking photos and recording video.
-
14 languages — the app interface is now localized for users around the world.
-
Fixed sideways videos — landscape recordings now come out landscape, no more head-tilting to watch your own footage.
-
Photos and videos show up correctly in Google Photos, in the right order, right after you shoot them.
-
Optional custom folders — by default your shots save straight to the camera roll so they're easy to find; turn on custom folders only if you want them.
-
Fixed a crash that could affect some devices on launch.
-
Eased up on ads for new users, so you can settle in with the app before they show up.
